Petition for a West Virginia Container Law
To: Governor Joe Manchin
West Virginia Senators and Delegates
We, the undersigned, do hereby petition you to introduce
and support legislation for a West Virginia container law.
We support a refundable deposit on beverage containers in
West Virginia, a policy that would cut down on litter,
reduce energy consumption and our landfill needs, and
increase our recycling rate by as high as 80%.
