Citizen group announces endorsements

CHARLESTON — West Virginia Citizen Action Fund, a new political action committee formed by WV Citizen Action Group, has announced its endorsements for federal and state-wide offices.

“We’ve evaluated the candidates’ positions and performance and feel these candidates deserve the support of our state’s voters in November,” said Gary Zuckett, political director of the Fund. “Good government; consumer, environmental, and workers protections, and access to our civil justice system are all important elements in our evaluation process when we endorse candidates.”

CAF is the independent, political arm of the West Virginia Citizen Action Group, the state’s oldest consumer protection and government watch-dog organization.

Michael Teets (R); Attorney General: Darrell McGraw (D); WV Supreme Court of Appeals: Menis Ketchum (D); WV Supreme Court of Appeals: Margaret L. Workman (D).
