WV Voter Registration

DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION HAS PASSED

EARLY VOTING RUNS FROM OCTOBER 15 - NOVEMBER 1 AT YOUR COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE

ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4

If you need assistance or have questions, please call us at 304-346-5891 or 1-866-WVB-FAIR. You can also visit www.wvvotes.com to find out more about where you need to go to vote.

Please register only if you are an eligible West Virginia resident.  If you reside in another state, use Voter Registration USA to find links to your home state registration information.  See our Q&A if you want to know more about eligibility.

Please register at your home address.  The law requires that you register where you live, not at a business address.

The online mail-in form uses the free Acrobat Reader.  If you have never downloaded the reader you can download a free copy from Adobe.

Download the form and instructions.  Click in the form boxes to type in your information.   Download Now!  When you are finished entering the information, print the form.

SIGN YOUR LEGAL NAME in ink in the "Voter Signature" box.

We're sorry, but the form can't be submitted online
because the law requires your original signature.

Mail your complete form to CAG (CAG will file your registration with the appropriate county clerk):

WV-CAG
1500 Dixie Street
Charleston, WV, 25311

Follow up! If you don't receive a notice in the mail within four to six weeks, call your county clerk to see if there is a problem.

The clerk is required to mail a notice to you at the address you gave, but if the notice is returned undeliverable at that address, the clerk cannot legally complete the registration and issue your voter card.
